4. Finally, I have to thank my friend Tom K. George, whose comments/belief that the coconut oil is good for health, prompted me to conduct this research online and prepare this document. His comment was contrary to my belief that the coconut oil contributes to heart problems. I needed to verify the facts for my own need, since both he and I hail from the same place, Kerala, India, and hence has the same food habits. My conclusion is to avoid coconut oil and continue to use the Canola or Olive oils.
